Sally Schaedler is an accomplished creative professional, with over a decade of experience illustrating children's textbooks. She is skilled in hand rendering as well as digital art, and has an excellent ability to multi-task. She works well under pressure, meets critical deadlines promptly and pays close attention to details.

Childrens Book Illustration
Most of my work for children’s book illustration is rendered in acrylics and/or Photoshop, so I am able to provide the client with flat final art or art on disc.

Black and White line art
I also love to do very tight line art using ink washes of color. Some of the examples in the “other artwork” section are more whimsical and less realistic - watch for new styles and ideas in a few months.

My background is Midwestern, with a BFA (Ad Illustration Major) from Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri, but I currently live in, and love New York.
